Operation:

Interrupt mask = 0 after eight clock cycles

Description:

This instruction returns from an interrupt subroutine by loading the program counter with the contents of the interrupted program counter (IPC) register. The hardware interrupt status is also cleared, and the interrupt mask is cleared after eight clock cycles.

This instruction will never cause an exception.
